1. DELIVERY TIMINGS AND COSTS
Orders from Portugal are sent via CTT registered mail.
For other countries, orders can be sent via DHL or CTT, depending on the customer’s choice.
All orders are processed from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and Portuguese holidays.
Delivery times may vary, but the standard times are as follows:
- Portugal (CTT) – 1 to 2 business days
- European Union (DHL EXPRESS) – 1 to 2 business days
- European Union (CTT) – 7 business days
- Rest of the world (DHL EXPRESS) – 3 to 5 business days
- Rest of the world (CTT) – 12 business days
But please be aware that each piece is made to order, so after you place your order and before we send it out, we need a few days for production and tailoring. This time frame may vary.
In the event of a delay in the delivery of your order, and if it is not delivered within 30 calendar days from the shipping date, or if it is declared lost by the carrier, we will issue a full refund and send a new order with the same items at no additional cost to the customer.
Please note that delivery may be delayed due to your country’s customs. Side Exclusive Pieces is not responsible for any unexpected delays that occur during shipment.
DHL cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or General Delivery addresses. Side Exclusive Pieces is not responsible for orders after they have been scanned and delivered.
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION* Each piece from Side Exclusive Pieces is made to order. Production time can be between 5 and 25 days, depending on the number of orders and workload. We are a small team and everything is handcrafted in our atelier in Portugal.
The estimated time for production of your order is always displayed on the website before placing the order, so that you can count on a date for the shipment.
If you have a special event and need to receive your piece as soon as possible, please email us at sideexclusivepieces@gmail.com so we can do our best to prioritize your order.
2. TAXES AND FEES
Orders to be delivered in the EU are duty free, so you will not pay any extra fees or customs duties.
For the rest of the world we ship all items as Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). Once your order is shipped, the carrier will collect all import taxes, customs, and local sales taxes charged by the destination country.
In the event that the customer refuses delivery due to import duties and taxes, taxes and any other charges and fees, the package will be destroyed or returned to the sender, in such cases any additional fees incurred will be the responsibility of the customer and the original order will be NON-refundable.
3. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a shipping number and a link. You can track your order at DHL.com (For orders worldwide) or CTT.pt (For orders in Portugal.)
4. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Always check if your delivery address is correct. We are unable to redirect orders once shipped – orders returned due to an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense. Once an order has been delivered to the correct delivery address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any additional shipping costs are non-refundable.
