Return Policy

Each piece from Side Exclusive Pieces is ethically handmade to order in our family atelier in Lisbon, Portugal. Because nothing is mass-produced or kept in stock, every item is created especially for you, with great care, attention, and love.

We believe that each client deserves a truly personalized experience.You can select different sizes for the top and bottom, choose whether your piece should be padded or not, and even request adjustments based on your height. This means that every item is made uniquely for you, ensuring a perfect and personal fit.

For this reason, we do not accept returns on custom pieces, but we are happy to offer exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in the original packaging (box and bag included).


EU Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), customers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 daysof receiving their goods.

However, this right does not apply to products that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized, as stated in Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Because Side Exclusive Pieces operates on a made-to-order basis, most of our items are handcrafted individually for each client, with customization options such as:

  • choosing different sizes for the top and bottom in one pieces and dresses;
  • adjusting the piece to match the customer’s height or specific measurements.

For this reason, returns are not accepted for these personalized products.
We do, however, offer exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item remains unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging.

If an item is not personalized, the 14-day right of withdrawal will apply in accordance with EU law.
In such cases, customers must inform us of their decision to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery by contacting us at geral@side.com.pt.

The shipping costs associated with the exchange are the responsibility of the buyer.
Once your exchange request is confirmed, please send the parcel within 7 days.


Hygiene & Swimwear Policy

For hygiene and health protection reasons, swimwear can only be returned or exchanged if the protective hygiene seal remains intact, all original tags are still attached, and the item is unworn, unwashed, and free from any odor, stains, or makeup marks.

Please try on your items over underwear and avoid removing the hygiene seal unless you are certain you wish to keep the piece. Once the hygiene label or seal has been removed, the product is considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged.

This policy complies with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), which excludes returns for sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.
