Shipment & Delivery
1. DELIVERY TIMINGS AND COSTS
Orders within Portugal are shipped via CTT Registered Mail.
For other European Union countries, orders can be shipped via CTT or DHL Express, depending on the customer’s choice.
For all other international destinations, orders are shipped exclusively via DHL Express.
Delivery times may vary, but the standard estimated times are as follows:
- Portugal (CTT) – 1 to 2 business days
- European Union (DHL Express) – 1 to 2 business days
- European Union (CTT) – around 7 business days
- Rest of the world (DHL Express) – 3 to 5 business days
Please note that each piece is made to order, so after placing your order, we will need a few days for production and tailoring before shipping. This timeframe may vary depending on the item.
Important Information
Each piece from Side Exclusive Pieces is handcrafted and made to order in our atelier in Portugal.
The estimated production time is always displayed on the website before checkout, so you can plan accordingly.
In the event of a delivery delay exceeding 30 calendar days from the shipping date, or if your parcel is declared lost by the carrier, we will issue a full refund and resend the same items at no additional cost to you.
Please note that customs procedures in your country may cause additional delays. Side Exclusive Pieces is not responsible for unexpected delays once the parcel has been shipped.
DHL cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or General Delivery addresses. Side Exclusive Pieces is not responsible for orders after they have been scanned and marked as delivered.
All orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and Portuguese public holidays.
If you have a special event and need to receive your piece as soon as possible, please email us at geral@side.com.pt we’ll do our best to prioritize your order.
2. TAXES AND FEES
Orders to be delivered in the EU are duty free, so you will not pay any extra fees or customs duties.
For all other international destinations, orders are shipped exclusively via DHL Express. For non-EU destinations, shipments are sent DAP (Delivered At Place).
Import duties and local taxes are charged by the carrier upon delivery.
If the parcel is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes, any return or disposal charges may be deducted from any eligible refund of the product value (shipping is non-refundable).
3. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link. You can track your order at DHL.com if it was shipped via DHL Express, or at CTT.pt if it was shipped via CTT (available for Portugal and European Union deliveries)
4. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Always check if your delivery address is correct. We are unable to redirect orders once shipped - orders returned due to an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense. Once an order has been delivered to the correct delivery address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any additional shipping costs are non-refundable.
